Edith Deane, 80, was granted her angel wings on October 25, 2018, with her family by her side in West Palm Beach, Florida. Edith was born October, 12,1938 in Geneva, New York, to Mr. and Mrs. Sebastian Calabrese. She graduated from De Sales High School in 1957. After marrying her high school sweetheart, Paul Deane, in 1962, they moved to Florida to raise their three children, Paul, Maryann, and Patrick. A woman of faith and the heart of the Deane family, Edith was always doing for others. She was an active member of Holy Name Church, food pantry volunteer, and long term member and Chaplin of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Elks Lodge #1352 in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was preceded by her birth mother, Mary Calabrese; mother, Betina Calabrese; father, Sebastian Calabrese; brother, Vincent Calabrese; son, Paul J. Deane Jr.; and husband of 55 years, Paul J. Deane Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Maryann Deane (Graham Toney); son, Patrick (Christina) Deane; granddaughter, Gianna Deane; and all beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. There will be a Memorial Service at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, Florida 33411, on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm. A funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name Catholic Church, 345 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida 33415, on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 11:00am. Reception to follow at the Elks Lodge, 900 62nd Drive N., West Palm Beach, Florida 33409 at 1:00pm.
