Earnestine Perez

Ernestine McNichols P'rez, 103, died peacefully on October 2, 2008 at the Royal Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. She was born November 27, 1904 in Mississippi, but lived most of her life in the New York City where she was Matriarch of a large and loving family and active in the Bronx Chapter of the New York Urban League and Bronx River Senior Citizens Services. She is survived by a sister, Valeria McNichols Dabbs; a son, Ralph A. (Amanda) P'rez; two daughters, Melita Shefton and Marina Crouch; 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren and two Great-Great-Grandchildren. Viewing will be from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Palms West Funeral Home and Crematory; a funeral service will be conducted immediately thereafter at 4:00 p.m.
