Earle Wiggan was born on November 9, 1931 in Spanish Town, Jamaica, West Indies. He was the first of four children born to William and Enid Wiggan. He earned the nickname "Bookie" as he was always reading every book he could get his hands on. He was loved by all who knew him and had friendships that lasted a lifetime. He was a man of his word, with a kind and gentle demeanor, always ready and willing to help when help was needed. Earle was educated at Cornwall College in Jamaica. He graduated from college after earning his Accounting degree. He started off his career in the insurance industry as an accountant before moving to Seprod, a manufacturing, distribution, and export business where he became an auditor. There he met his wife, Lily Jackson, the love of his life, and his constant partner in all his businesses. They got married on April 6, 1953 and were blessed with 3 children, Neal, Althea, and Karen. Earle took on many challenges during his lifetime and achieved many goals. He began his entrepreneurial career when he moved to Antigua and opened the first commercial bakery on the island. After a few years of establishing the bakery he returned to Jamaica and started an optical manufacturing company in Kingston after studying the manufacturing process in Germany. Unfortunately, after a few years, the optical factory burned down and he returned with his family to Antigua to focus on the bakery. The family returned to Jamaica when Earle decided to open a second bakery and store in Jamaica. He remained in Jamaica until the political upheaval in Jamaica forced him to make the decision to emigrate to the United States and start a business there. He purchased a printing establishment in Lake Park, Florida, and then a copy shop a few years later. He continued to work in the printing and copying industry until he retired. Earle leaves behind his wife Lily, sister Gloria, children Neal, Althea, and Karen. Nephews, John, Dale, and Stephen. Grandchildren, Nitara, Shane, Tiffany, Gregory, and Briana. Great grandchildren, Aria and Anaiah, numerous cousins, family members, and friends.
