Earle Milton Pescatore, Sr., Age 86, of Wellington, passed away August 11 after a short illness. A popular auto mechanics teacher in Broward County, he taught at Sheridan Vocational Technical Center (now Sheridan Technical College) in Hollywood from 1968-1985, then continued at Boyd Anderson High School in Lauderdale Lakes until he retired in 2004. Born in Cranston, R.I., in 1929, Earle was the second youngest child of Alfredo and Maude Pescatore. He served in both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army. Earle married Faith Lucille Ouimette in 1956, and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary a few months before she passed away in 2007. He was also predeceased by his son, Luke Louis Pescatore. He is survived by his son, Earle Milton Pescatore, Jr. (wife, Keli), of Coral Springs; daughter Hope Jean Shirey (husband, Carl), of Wellington; son Mark James Pescatore (wife, Christine), of Royal Palm Beach; four granddaughters and one grandson; and sister Connie Dallas of Gainesville, Va. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
