Earl R. Boyce, Jr., affectionately known as "Squeak," departed this world on January 20, 2026, just days shy of his 72nd birthday. Born on January 22, 1954, in Gainesville, Florida, Earl lived a life that was rich with experience, purpose, and love. He found his calling in the field of industrial refrigeration, where his dedication and expertise brought joy to many and solidified his reputation as a respected professional.
Earl's generous spirit was one of his most defining traits. He had a remarkable ability to make those around him feel happy, a quality that endeared him to many and allowed him to forge lasting friendships. His personality shone brightly in all aspects of his life, and he had an innate talent for nurturing connections with others.
Earl's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Laurie Boyce, as well as his cherished daughter, Brittany Boyce Berrios and son-in-law, Manuel Berrios. Earl delighted in his role as a grandfather to his beloved grandchildren, Aidyn Berrios, Mila Berrios, and Olivia Berrios, who brought immense joy to his life.
In addition to his immediate family, he will be remembered fondly by his sister, Helen (Daniel) Farinelli; niece, Lisa Baez; and Sister-In-Law, Caralu (Peter) Cuomo, Earl's legacy will be carried on through the love and warmth he spread throughout his life.
In his leisure time, Earl found solace in activities that enriched his spirit; he enjoyed boating, fishing, and gaming. These hobbies not only provided him enjoyment but also served as opportunities to create beautiful memories with his loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Boyce, Sr., and his mother, Hazel Jolly Boyce, whose influence undoubtedly shaped the man he became.
