Dorothy Iris Dowling

Dorothy Iris Dowling, 70 was granted her angel wings on Feb. 1, 2013 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Sept. 18, 1942 in Passaic, NJ, the daughter of the late Dorothy Neilley and Nicholas Shumeska. While it appears too soon, those that knew Dorothy understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time. Her wonderful sense of humor, generosity, forgiving and kind nature where cherished by everyone. She was an active member of the "Moving On" and "In Stitches" groups and loved to read, knit and sew. She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Harmon, Rosemarie Valente, Jaime Dowling and son Donald Dowling III, son-in-law Tommy Valente, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
