Donna Jean Knepley

On August 11th, at the age of 96, D. Jean Kepley passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph "Buck", and her sons Joel and Jeffrey. She leaves behind her daughter Debbie (Dale); grandsons Troy, Ryan (Michele), and Brett (Brooke); and her great-grandchildren, Langston, Ryker, and Locklyn.

Born in Toledo, Ohio, on November 27, 1929, she lived a long, fulfilling life filled with love, laughter, and family. With her remarkable ability to make everyone around her feel comfortable and loved, friends quickly became just like family. With a genuine interest in everyone's lives, newcomers didn't stay strangers for long. She loved doting on her grandchildren and bragging about her greatest treasures: her great-grandchildren. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and pride, which was shown for all to see in the countless memories framed on her walls. If only there were enough walls to showcase the endless memories Jean was a part of.

Those who knew her best will remember her for her sharp mind, quick wit, lively sense of humor, and her warm, welcoming spirit. She was most comfortable holding court in her living room with a healthy glass of red wine, a perfect martini, or a Manhattan with friends and her son-in-law. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by all. 

May she rest peacefully with a smile on her face and a glass of red wine in her hand.

Jean will be interned at South Florida National Cemetery.

A celebration of life will be held in the Fall.
