It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Louise Huggins Riley, age 82, of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, who passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025. Donna was born on September 30, 1943, in North Carolina, to Morris Frances Huggins, Sr., and Wilda Winifred Whitener Huggins. She spent her early childhood in England as a military family and graduated from Lake Worth High School in Lake Worth, Florida. She met the love of her life, John Riley in Atlanta, GA, where they became inseparable for 62 years. Throughout her life, she was known for her kindness, compassion, and love for her family. She dedicated her life as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Donna worked as a Domestic Engineer and a Purchasing Agent, excelling at balancing her responsibilities with care and humor. Donna's hobbies included shopping and sipping tea. She delighted in tea parties. She enjoyed playing games, attending painting classes with friends and family, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to travel and was passionate about cooking for her family, collecting Middleton porcelain dolls, and Boyd's Bears. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life and always had a warm smile to share with those around her. She is survived by her loving husband, John E. Riley, Sr.; daughter Sandra D. Love; son John E. Riley, Jr., and wife Theresa. Siblings: Carol F. Dubose, Morris F. Huggins, Jr., Anna M. Conwell and husband John, Wendelin Huggins, Kenneth T. Huggins, Deborah R. Huggins, husband Terry, and Daniel R. Huggins. Donna was also blessed with beautiful grandchildren: Nicole L. Weber and husband Christopher, John M. Love, Jr. and wife Samantha, Brianna P. Ford and husband Tanner, Summer T. Riley, and Kyle V. Jones and wife Taylor. Her great-grandchildren include Brooke, Maxwell, Kendall, Tripp, Payton, Riley, and Ella, all of whom brought her endless joy. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends. She loved you all deeply. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Palms West Funeral Home, located at 110 Business Parkway, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411. A service will follow at the same location, officiated by Chaplain Joe McNett. Interment will take place at the South Florida National Cemetery 6501 S. Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449, at 12:30 p.m. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Trustbridge Hospice, Palms West Hospital ER and ICU nurses, Pastor Dale Faircloth of Connect Church, and all of our family and friends for their support, love, and prayers during this difficult time.
