Diane Marie Snyder passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 21st at Boca Raton Regional Hospital in Boca Raton, Florida. She has been visiting her brother's family in Wellington, Florida. Diane received her bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University and her Master's of Science degree in clinical nutrition from Kent State University. She was a registered dietitian at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio for 41years and retired in June, 2014. Diane was also a part-time instructor at Penn State University, Youngstown State University, and Kent State University. In addition, she was also a member of the Ohio Society for Parental and Enteral Nutrition (OSPEN) Board of Committees for many years and was currently on the OSPEN Program Planning Committee. Diane will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her brother James (Denise) Snyder of Wellington, Florida and her sister Mary Lou (Richard) Pisani of Poland, Ohio,10 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews all of whom were such a special part of her life. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, James R. and Ruth C. Snyder, sister Carroll J. Brunner and brother John W. Snyder. Calling hours for Diane will be on Friday, March 27th at Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach, Florida from 6 to 8 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be on Saturday, March 28th at 10 am in St. Therese de Lisieux Catholic Church,11800 Lake Worth Road, Wellington, Florida. A memorial service to celebrate Diane's life will be held in Poland,Ohio at a future date.
