Diane Ramaglia, 75, of Wellington, FL, passed away peacefully in the arms of her beloved girls on Thursday, May 8, 2014. Born in Hackensack, N.J. she is the daughter of the late James and Frances (Paladino) Notar and the widow of Arthur Ramaglia. Diane brought great joy to all who knew her and her memory will be cherished by her daughters ("the girls"), Francine Ramaglia and Deneen (Craig) Hallonquist; grandson, James Hallonquist; brother, Richard (MaryAnn) Notar; sisters of heart, Andrea Jane Suppa and Dolores Rubinich; her godchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews, along with a legion of friends. Diane's greatest joy was her family and its cherished traditions, including Sunday Dinners, Holiday celebrations and other gatherings. She also loved her community and was proud to have shaped Wellington into the place where families flourished, not only in her role as a realtor for over 30 years but also as a volunteer and a friend. She lived a vivid, loving life and leaves lasting beauty in this world through the love she so freely gave to us all and through her beautiful paintings, compositions and recipes. Our dear mother ultimately found great faith and understood it grew from our journey through this life as well as by our contributions to the world. She was deeply grateful for all her blessings and became curiously enthusiastic about the mystery yet to unfold. We can all rest assured that she will arrange a beautiful reception to greet us when we meet her again in Heaven. A visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Palms West Funeral Home with a wake service beginning at 7:30 PM. A mass of the resurrection will be 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Wellington. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy, are asked to consider making donations in Diane's name to the American Lung Association: www.lungusa.org/donate; Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407; or to a charity of your choice.
