It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Derling Rios, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and cherished friend, who passed away on October 4, 2026.

Derling was a hardworking, devoted, and generous man who would do anything for the people he loved. Family was the center of his world, and he was always there to protect, provide for, and support those closest to him.

He was known for his kindness and willingness to help others. He was the kind of man who would give his last dollar to someone in need and never hesitate to lend a helping hand. To many, he was not only family or a friend, but someone they could always count on.

Derling was a man of faith who loved God deeply. He often spoke about God and his faith with the people around him, and his belief in God was an important part of his life. His faith brought him strength throughout his life and comfort during difficult times.

Derling shared a lifelong love with his Wife, Carmen D. Rios, and was a devoted Father to Derlin Rios Jr. and Diana Rios. He treasured his Grandchildren, Jocelyn Perez, Derlin Rios III, Alexia Durham, and Jenayla Durham, and his Great-grandchildren, Amilia A. Perez and Calvin A. Perez.

He was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter, **Audrielle Rios**, and we find comfort in believing that they are now together and at peace. His memory will live on through the family he loved so deeply and the many lives he touched.

He will be loved forever, missed every day, and never forgotten.
