Deonarine Ganesh

Deonarine "David or Baba" Ganesh was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He left this world peacefully on May 9,2023 at the age of 64. David was born to Ganesh and Janey Balasar on June 25,1958 in Guyana. At age around 18 years old, David left Guyana and arrived in New York in April 1974 with $17.50 in his pocket to pursue a better life here in the United States of America. This is where he was reunited with Nandini, and the two married. David and Nandini knew each other from their childhoods as they were neighbors in Guyana. They have 2 daughters together, Suraya, age 28 and Anjali, age 23. David also has his beloved dog, Cocoa. David was handy and enjoyed building things. He enjoyed listening to all types of music and planting fruit trees and flowers. He was a believer in hard work and dedication. He taught his daughters how to do everything for themselves - from fixing a house to investing in the stock market. David enjoyed having conversations with people and had a smile and personality that filled the room with love and laughter. He will truly be missed.
