Dennis Robert Henderson Jr

Dennis Henderson, 80, passed away surrounded by family and love on November 7, 2025. Denny was born on April 27, 1945 to Thelma (Mimi) (Burke) and Dennis Henderson Sr. in Maryville, Tennessee. He has a sister, Yvette and brother Terry. The family moved to Hialeah, Florida when Denny was a child. Denny is survived by his wife and partner of 50 plus years, Katherine (Jiji) Henderson, beloved son and best friend, Derek Henderson, daughter in law Linda Henderson and two grandchildren, Justin and Devyn, who referred to him as G-Pa. Denny enlisted in the Army when he was 17. He spent time in Germany where he met his lifelong friend Michael Navarro. They went on to create a lifetime of memories, taking joint family vacations and visits to California, where Denny and Derek were able to step on to the greens at Pebble Beach together, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Denny loved entertaining friends and getting together with family, whether it was watching a Miami Hurricane game or celebrating birthdays. He was an avid pool player- Hence the nickname "One Shot Denny". His love and quick wit will remain with us forever.
