David Yurchuck

David Yurchuck, Sr, 83 of Palm Beach, FL passed away on April 13, 2023 surrounded by family. David was born to Anthony and Margaret on November 13, 1939 in Providence, RI. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruby Mae Binkley Yurchuck; his sons Tim (Jackie), Scott (Karen), and David Jr. (Angela); his grandchildren Kyle, Alison, Tanner, Laurie, Lindsay and Dylan (known to them as "Papa" and "Gramps"); his two brothers Jay (Hope) Yurchuck and James McGuigan. After graduating East Providence highschool, he enlisted in the Marine Corp October 1958 and was honorably discharged in October 1962. In 1963 he began his 30 year long career with the Broward Sheriffs Office, during which time he obtained a master's degree in Public Administration. He retired as a Major in December 1992. In 1994, he was appointed Chief of Police in North Port, Florida. He retired "for good" in 2004. He lived a remarkable life! Mario the Baker and Dunkin Donuts will miss him! We all will. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Liver Foundation.
