David John Petrone

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of David Petrone, of Royal Palm Beach, on January 31st, 2023, at the age of 70 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Deborah; sons: James, Daniel and Chris Petrone; daughter-in-law: Suzette Petrone; granddaughters: Aurora and Anastasia; brothers: Peter and Paul Petrone; as well as numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Daniel Joseph Petrone; and parents: Peter Anthony Petrone and Marie McGrory. David served in the U.S. Air Force during The Vietnam War, and served again for 27 years as a clerk in the U.S. Postal Service. He enjoyed bowling and golf, and spending time with family and friends, especially making pizzas with his granddaughter Aurora. David proudly served his community during retirement, helping so many people struggling with sobriety. As a much loved and well respected member of the community and as a husband, father and grandfather, David will be sorely missed by all those that loved him. A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 11th, 2023 at 3:30 pm, with a service beginning at 5:00 pm at Palms West Funeral Service, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411 A celebration of life will be held immediately after the funeral at "Club 62", 220 Royal Palm Beach Blvd, RPB, FL 33411 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in David Petrone's name to Vietnam Veterans of America, at VVA.org/donate
