David Garcia

We remember David whose spirit departed from us at the age of 71. He was predeceased by his parents Nicanor and Cecilia Vargas and Ursula Sosa. Siblings Juan Enrique, Celia, Carmen and Socorro. He is survived by his loving wife Betty Garcia, son David Garcia (Latisha), daughter Gisselle Marcido (Adrian), grandchildren Arianna, Ethan, David, Aria and Lexi. Also by his siblings Jimmy, Evelyn, Nilsa, Charlie, Humberto and Jesus including many beloved nieces and nephews. David was born and raised in the Bronx NY. At the age of 19 he met his beautiful wife and they married in October of 1976. After the birth of their two children they moved to Washingtonville NY where they lived for 34 years. During these years he worked as a HVAC technician at New York Presbyterian Hospital. David was a selfless man who put others before himself. He cared for his aging father and in-laws. He was also a kidney donor. During his free time he loved taking scenic rides on his Harley and sharing a drink in his garage with family and friends. In June of 2023 he got to live out his dream of moving to Florida. On the early morning of February 25th he peacefully departed his earthly body at home with his wife and loved ones by his side.
