David Freedman

David Freedman, 90, of Breakers West, West Palm Beach, FL, died peacefully on Saturday, August 29th, 2015. Formally of Falls River, MA and World War II Veteran. He was the son of Joseph and Sarah (nee Baron) Freedman and was pre deceased by his siblings, Meyer Freedman, Louis Freedman and Molly Hirsh. Dave's memory will be cherished by the love of his life, Teri Cherwak; extended family, Renee McEwen and Cheri Hilgartner; extended grand family, Maire McEwen, Maeve McEwen, Morrin McEwen, Graham Hilgartner, Michael Hilgartner; puppy, Chanel with whom he loved to take on long walks; a special friend, Tammie Abernathy; nephews, Gerald Freedman and James Freedman; nieces, Jackie Gedacht, Joyce Goldweitz, and Wendy Joblon; and all of the Boston, MA suburbs. Dave will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. There will be a burial service 1:15 PM on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the South Florida National Cemetery, where Dave will be laid to rest with military honors. Please arrive at 1:00 PM in Lane 3. Officiating will be Chaplain David Miller. Many thanks to all the nurses who took care of him during his brief illness.
