David A. DiMassimo, 60, a much-loved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on December 23, 2014. He was a warrior and had bravely confronted and fought cancer. He is survived by his wife Millie DiMassimo of 38 years; daughters Danielle Shull and Candace DiMassimo; son in law Peter Shull; and his beloved granddaughter Isabella Shull. He was a very proud man who loved his family more than anything that life had to offer him. David was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and was currently residing in Lake Worth, Florida. He was the owner of Dr. Dave's Car Hospital for 19 years in West Palm Beach, Florida and was in the automotive repair industry for 42 years. He enjoyed spending time watching and attending Florida Panther hockey games and was an avid HO Scale model railroad collector for over 50 years. David had a passion for food and cruising the high seas with his wife, family and friends. He had a deep affection for animals, loved nature and had a green thumb for gardening.
