David Alan Blanchard

Blanchard, David Alan David Blanchard, age 56, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014, at Hospice of Palm Beach County, after fighting a courageous battle with kidney cancer for four years. David was born on March 20, 1957, in Cambridge, MA to Myrtle (Clare) Blanchard and the late Leon E. Blanchard. David served in the US Air Force/Security from January 1977 to January 1983 and upon honorable discharge became employed by Lost Tree Village for 30 years. David enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping, and he was an accomplished bowler. In his youth he sang and traveled with the group "Yesterday's Today" of Trinity United Methodist Church of Palm Beach Gardens. David touched the lives of many people and will truly be missed. David���s memory will be cherished by his devoted and loving wife, Debra Ann Blanchard; beloved daughter, Courtney Alissa Blanchard; his three brothers, Paul D. (Leslie) Blanchard, Steven E. Blanchard, and Mark A. (Julie) Blanchard; nieces, Tiffany L. Blanchard and Melissa L. Blanchard; and nephew, Steven A. Blanchard. A memorial gathering will be held 4-5 PM on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Palms West Funeral Home with a memorial service and military honors beginning at 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts in David's memory be made to his daughter, Courtney A. Blanchard, for her college fund. Donations may be made payable to Debra Ann Blanchard, P.O.
