Dathan Yisrael-Fields

Dathan "Dee" Fields, born April 19th 1975 in Chicago Illinois was called home April 19th 2018, bringing comfort to those who loved him, knowing as his mother and father brought him into this world, so will they carry him to the next. Dee was a loving father, patient and kind. An amazing man whose strengths were unmeasured. He will forever be in the hearts of those who loved him. Memories of him will always be shared and carried on. Dathan is survived by his children Makayla, Terell, Jasinyah, Ryan, Niyah, Natalia, and Derek. Also by his life partner Jennifer Jackson and many bothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him dearly. Those who died yesterday had plans for this morning, and those who died this morning had plans for tonight. Don't take life for granted. In the blink of an eye everything can change so forgive often and love with all your heart, you never know when you may not have that chance again. I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
