Danny A. Mcgowan

Danny was born in Dublin, Georgia, the first of six children. After a move to Miami, he spent his childhood playing baseball and fishing along the coast of Florida and the Florida Keys. In 1976 he joined the United States Air Force, proud to serve his country with his life. During his time with the Air Force, Danny was stationed at a base in Hahn, Germany. This was where he would meet the love of his life and future wife, Gloria. They dated for a year, smitten with each other, when in 1980 Danny completed his term with the Air Force and was to move back to Miami. Upon leaving the Air Force he started a career at Florida Power and Light. As fate would have it, Gloria was to start school at a college in Miami as well. The two traveled back to the states together and it was true love ever since. Together they created a beautiful life, and began their family with two wonderful girls, Ashley and Courtney. A true family man, Danny could not have been happier to spend time with his daughters, even teaching them to fish just like he loved to. Though sad to see them leave, he was immensely proud of his daughters for attending college. His whole life, Danny had worked hard to support and care for his family, giving them endless love, and they wanted for nothing. Danny will continue to be the love of his family, the most amazing husband, and father.
