Daniel “Danny” Arnold Kirchman

September 27, 1958 – September 25, 2026

Daniel “Danny” Arnold Kirchman, 67, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on September 25, 2026, just two days shy of his 68th birthday.

Born in Orlando, Florida, on September 27, 1958, Danny was raised in Belle Glade, Florida, by his parents, the late Terrence and Donna Jean Kirchman. He graduated from Glades Day School in 1977 where he played baseball, basketball, and football. He once held the position as the president of the Rotary Club in Belle Glade. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with honors, from the University of Arkansas at Monticello where he also played football. After college, Danny began his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant at Kirchman Oil, Nowlen Holt & Minor, before ultimately becoming The Port Controller for the Port of Palm Beach, where he built a long and successful career.

Danny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, father-in-law, uncle, and friend.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sofia; his brothers, Terry and Josh; his son, Dane, and wife, Erica; his daughter, Mia, and husband, Mikey; his youngest daughter, Chloe, and husband, Adrian; his grandchildren, Mila, Sonny, Cruz, and Nolan; and his extended family Uncle Bucky, Aunt Brenda, Aunt Bobby, Uncle Petie, Mother in Law Georgina Bueno and many brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces and nephews.

Danny's strength and determination were evident throughout his 20-year battle with cancer. He faced years of surgeries, treatments, and challenges with remarkable courage. He never complained. Instead, he continued to live his life, spend time with his family, and fight to keep going. He was determined to beat cancer, keep living, and he did so with a strength and perseverance that will forever be remembered by all.

To know Danny was to know that he had a wonderful and sometimes unexpected sense of humor. He loved sharing his knowledge with others. A simple conversation could quickly turn into a random fact, or a history lesson. He loved learning and he loved making sure everyone else knew a little more when the conversation was over. Danny took great pride in his belongings and was someone who liked things done his way. He was particular, determined, and knew what he liked. Those who knew him best will undoubtedly smile when remembering all the little things that made him uniquely Danny.

Danny was an excellent golfer; you could always find him golfing with his loved ones. He practiced golf often and would give advice to all his family that share the love of the game. Some of his favorite days were spent on the golf course, enjoying the game and making memories. When he did not have a tee time, Danny enjoyed working on his beautiful yard, mowing his lawn, planting trees, and plants. He also loved going on vacation with his family, visiting National Parks, and exploring museums.

Above all, Danny was a family man. He was beyond proud of his children and grandchildren. He was always there for them and took extraordinary pride in being part of their lives. He loved to chase them around and play with them. He especially loved attending their sporting events and cheering them on. One of his greatest joys was watching his granddaughter Mila play soccer. Even after major surgeries and difficult treatments, Danny made every effort to be there for her games. He simply did not want to miss those moments. His children and grandchildren will especially remember the way he showed his love not always with words, but with his presence.

Dad, you showed us what strength looked like. You taught us to keep going, to laugh when we could, to appreciate the little things, and to never stop fighting for the life we love. We will carry you with us, in every moment in nature, every round of golf, every family gathering, every laugh, and every story we tell. You were a wonderful Father. Thank you for everything. We love you, Dad. And we will miss you more than words can say. Rest easy now, your work here is done. ❤️ “Enjoy your Life and Be Happy” were his last words of wisdom. “I love you” were his very last words to his wife.
