Daniel Robert Dickey, age 64 of Loxahatchee, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2013. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. Daniel was born in Lincoln Nebraska. He graduated from Northeast High School and attended both University of Nebraska and the Florida Atlantic University. He was a worldly person having lived in Alaska, England, Bahamas, Colorado, Nevada and Florida. He worked for large businesses in Property Acquisitions and Disposals. His door and heart were always open to those in need. He was a friend to all animals through adoption and provided a safe haven for the lost. He was a caretaker and protector to all of us. We are blessed and lucky to have shared his life and know that his love will live on through his children and grandchildren. Survived by mother Catherine J. Dickey of West Palm Beach, Florida; sister Barbara J Dickey of Loxahatchee, Florida; two children: daughter Jamie Lynn Cabrera, Merritt Island, Florida; son Mark Allen Frederick, Lincoln Nebraska, six grandchildren: Taylor, Trevor and Sammy Cabrera ; Cole, Clay and Cameron Frederick. Additionally, he is greatly mourned by his son-in-law Ramon Cabrera, uncle Brynmor Williams, cousins Diane Tanner and Kevin Williams, step sisters; Diane and Mary Cheryl Dickey. Memorial Services will be in Lincoln Nebraska. In-lieu of flowers donations should be made in Daniel's name to Warren United Methodist Church for the Youth Programs.
