Damon Wayne Gammons

Damon W. Gammons, 63, of West Palm Beach passed away unexpectedly on May 20th, 2026. Born in Lake Worth to the late Jimmie Gammons and Ellen (Roosa) Green. Damon worked for the United States Postal Service for over 25 years on the island of Palm Beach. Damon was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. He loved to fish and be on the water. One of his favorite activities was to go on cruises with his wife and sister, some of which include Alaska, all of the Caribbean islands and the Bahamas.

Surviving are his wife Catherine (Baker) Gammons of West Palm Beach; one son, Damon W. (Allison) Gammons Jr. of West Palm Beach; one step-daughter Kimberly (Anthony) Cibene of Boca Raton; three grandchildren, Damon W. Gammons III, Adalynn Rose Gammons and Senna Scottie Cibene; one sister, Nicole Allen of Oswego, NY; two nephews, William Moody, Robbie Allen and one niece, Britney (Ryan) Baldwin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Michael Scott Hallenbeck.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
