Cynthia Lee Kiviniemi

Cindy Lee Kiviniemi, age 49 of Royal Palm Beach, Florida passed away peacefully at her home on April 1, 2017. She was born in Van Nys, CA on March 6, 1968. Cindy was captivated by the sunny beaches she found when she visited Florida in her early twenties and soon after relocated to the Treasure coast of Florida where she worked as a top producing Account Representative at Pagenet for over 15 years. During that time she met Sauli and fell head over heels in love and followed her heart to Finland and started a family. She was fearless and not deterred by the challenges in relocating to another country and learning another language. Her passion for travel and experiencing other cultures was fulfilled. She returned to Florida in 2012 and worked for Palm Beach County School Board in their Transportation department where she made many friends. Her beautiful smile and sparkling personality were what drew you to her and her generous nature in helping others was often evident. She loved the beach and the peace and serenity she found in the beauty and repetition of the waves and went on to become a lifeguard, as she recognized the danger that could also be found in the power of those waves. In her quiet times at home she could often be found gardening or baking, but mostly she enjoyed fellowshipping with her sons, other family and many friends. Our time with her was too short but her light will continue to shine through the memories we share together and in the hearts of her sons and family and friends. She is survived by her beloved sons Skylar (16) and Bailey (13) and their father Sauli. She also leaves behind her mother Barbara and brothers Gene, Richard and John.
