Life & Legacy of Curtis Holley III A Time to be Born On February 13, 1983 at Everglades General Hospital in Pahokee, Florida, a loving child was born Curtis Holley III, to the proud parents of Curtis and Lucille Holley. Curtis was known to most by his nickname "Gerchy." A Time to Grow Curtis attended Elementary, Middle, and High School in the Palm Beach County School District. He was a proud graduate of the Glades Central High School Class of 2002. He led Glades Central Raiders as the #1 Quarterback to three State Championships in 1999, 2000, and 2001. Curtis, #18 will always be a legend! After graduation, he continued his education on a football scholarship at Southern Illinois University for three years. Curtis returned home and enrolled in Babson College, while studying there, he played football for two years. With great determination he continued to pursue his goal and attended Palm Beach Atlantic University (West Palm Beach, Florida) and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Organizational Management. A Time to Work For 18 years, Curtis worked with Community Partners of South Florida. Curtis mentored, counseled and advocated for children at Pioneer Park Elementary in Belle Glade, Florida, PYEA program and youth throughout the Glades area. His mentoring touched the parents, too. He was a Security Officer for G4S. To top it off, he did some coaching with the football team. As a result, he was respect and loved in the community. A Time to Worship Curtis was a member of Saint Paul COGIC. He attended services with his mother. A Time to Love On September 19, 2019, Curtis Holley and Chandra Cosby united as one in Holy Matrimony. He demonstrated unconditional love to Chandra every chance he could. They were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Cayce and a stepson, Jaiden Thompson. His caring was so strong for his family. It was evidence until his transition. A Time to Depart On October 20, 2021 at 11:26 am, God entered the room at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida. God said, 'Gerchy, life may seem short, being only 38 years of age, to others, but your work is complete. You have mentored, motivated, nurtured, cared for many on earth. So, well done my good and faithful servant. Now, I need the three-time State Championship Quarter Back #18 Curtis Holly III to quarter back my #1 Heavenly Team."
