Cornelia Rose (Manning) Robbins ?Connie? became an angel of God on January 16, 2009, at age 66. Connie was born April 26, 1942 to Alice (Herlihy) Manning and the late Francis D. Manning, Sr., in Newburyport, MA. A graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, Connie furthered her education as a beautician and owned a beauty parlor known as ?Connie?s Coiffeurs.? She moved to West Palm Beach in 1976, where she later became the Director of The Little Place Daycare Center for 10 years. She had returned to her native Newburyport to care for her aunt in 1990, but in 2003, returned to sunny Florida, where she bought a home in Wellington. Connie retired and took care of her grandchildren, Michael and Alison, which was probably her most joyous and fulfilling job ever! She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Rodriguez, as well as Glenda Redwood, and Jeffery Robbins. Additional grandchildren are Joseph, and Christopher, and great grandchildren, Lilly and Suriaya. Connie is also survived by her mother, sisters, Gail Martin and Linda Grabowski, brothers, Patrick and Richard, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Connie was a dear friend to many, including her former husband, Thomas Robbins, for whom each other still cared deeply. She will be sorely missed by all. Connie was predeceased by her brother, Francis D. Manning, Jr. (?Brother?) and sister, Judith Hurton. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday, January 23rd from 7-9 pm at Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach. A Mass will be held Saturday, January 24th at 10:30 am at St. Rita Catholic Church in Wellington.
