Connie Rose Owens

Connie R. Owens born November 7th 1938 in Miami Florida to William & Elise Russo. My Loving and Brave Wife of 62 God Giving Wonderful years blessed me January 21st 1956 by becoming my Wife, Partner and Best Friend. She served Proudly as the Wife of a USMC Sgt Charles Tony Owens Camp Lejeune NC We left the Corps we loved moving back to Miami to help care for my Mother, She passed in 1958 that year we moved to Lantana Fl I went to work as a Real Estate Broker for Blue Ribbon Homes and Connie filled our home with Children 1957 Chuck 1958 Dale, 1959 Sherry (deceased), 1961 Daniel (deceased) 1962 Carry, After Cary started School Connie went back to School completing her GED enrolling in LPN Coarse at PBJr Collage the following 2 years she went back to receive her Batchler of Arts Degree in Nursing, she joined Bethesda Hospital as Labor and Delivery Nurse for 32 years retiring in 2,000 Connie loved her work but left to spend time with her Mother Elise after Connie's father died and Elise came to live with us they were inseparable until her mothers passing in 2012 at the age of97 always best friends Connie lost her courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer she never lost her dignity or will to live and embraced every day like the trooper she was. Left to mom her passing her brothers Michael Russo and Pam, Ronny Russo and Marcia, her sons Chuck and Mary, Dale and Debbie, Cary, Six Grand Children and one Great Grand Daughter many Nieces and Nephews she was truly one of a kind her beauty her smile her never ending love for her Family her attention to detail for every holiday was well documented with extreme decorations and food for every holiday, birthday, anniversary, graduation, her favorites were Christmas and Halloween.
