CLIVE E. SIRJU Age 88, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at his residence in Royal Palm Beach, FL. He was born on September 27, 1919 in San Fernando, Trinidad, WI to Violet B. and Carl E. Sirju who preceded him in death. Clive received his degree from Cambridge University, England and was a career Accountant/Auditor for Texaco Trinidad which evolved into the Trinidad and Tobago Oil Company. He was a life long bachelor and retired to Florida in 1982. Clive is survived by his sister, Barbara P. ?Silky? Hatch (John), a nephew, Peter R. Chin-Aleong (Wanda), a niece, Elizabeth A. ?Bonnie? Matthews (Jimmy), a great-niece, Christine E. Gorgone (Joey), two great-nephews, Darin C. Chin-Aleong (Trina), and Jason A. ?Andy? Matthews, a grand-niece Alyxandra Gorgone, and a grand-nephew Jimmy Gorgone. He was a devoted son, brother, Uncle, and friend who shared his good fortune and humanity with family and community. The Family would like to express their gratitude to Visiting Angels of Palm Beach and Recovery Home Care and especially thank his Caregiver, Merville Foster, and his Nurse, James McAloon, for the dedicated care and devotion provided to make his last months comfortable and enjoyable.
