Clive Anthony Pinnock, age 68, residing in Loxahatchee, FL passed away on Saturday June 10, 2023. Clive was born on November 14, 1954 in Kingston, Jamaica to Vincent and Ruth Pinnock. Upon moving to the United States, he pursued a career in Wildlife Biology, where he worked for the U.S. National Park Service. Clive was a Park Ranger at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in New York, NY and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area in Page, Arizona before moving to South Florida. He then started working for Lion Country Safari in Loxahatchee, FL as a Wildlife Educator before taking a position as the manager of Okeeheelee Nature Center in Palm Beach County. During his 16 year tenure at Okeeheelee Nature Center he was instrumental in starting numerous programs such as Science for Seniors, Basic Birding, Birds of Prey talks, and many other programs. Clive retired from Okeeheelee Nature Center in 2014 and went back to work for Lion Country Safari in the Wildlife Department working with birds. Clive volunteered his time to lead bird walks, giving educational seminars, and was a monthly speaker for Audubon Everglades. Clive loved being outdoors enjoying God's creation. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading Scriptures, scuba diving, fishing, birding, camping, traveling, reading, and educating others about wildlife. Clive is survived by his wife Celecia Pinnock. Children Debbie Pinnock, Jason Pinnock, Michael Negron, Tyler Bockstruck and Joel Bockstruck. Grandchildren, Eboni McDaniel and Elijah McDaniel. Brother Paul Pinnock, brother Robert Pinnock {Wanda}, and sister Beth Scott (Michael). In-Laws Joel and Camilla Elderkin. Brother In-Law Duane Elderkin (Crystal). Dear friend Robert Silva, several nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. Clive is predeceased by his parents Vincent and Ruth Pinnock. Family will receive friends at Palms West Funeral Home located at 110 Business Parkway, Royal Palm Beach, FL on Saturday June 17th, 2023 from 5:30 pm - 7 pm. A celebration of Clive's life will follow at 7 pm in the chapel. Please remember that Clive loved life and we want to keep this a colorful service. Interment will be Wednesday June 21, 2023 at 9:30 am at South Florida National Cemetery located at 6501 S SR 7, Lake Worth, FL.
