Clifton A. Sewell, Sr, 73, of Royal Palm Beach, Florida died on December 26, 2009 after a long illness. He was born in Jamaica where he spent his early years in Racecourse, St. Mary. He migrated to Kingston at the age of 18 where he became a proud member of the Jamaican Constabulary Force. In 1972 he retired from the police force and migrated to Brooklyn, New York. He is predeceased by his mother Daphne Campbell and father Aston Sewell. He is survived by his wife, Gloria, children Paulette (Lyric), Clifton Jr.(Charlotte), Sharon, Carol (Lenworth), Danny (Hyacinth), Patricia, Andrea and Carlton (Annemarie), 21 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, eight brothers and sisters, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Palms West Funeral Home on 441 (State Road 7)110 Business Park Way in Royal Palm Beach, Florida on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
