Claude Cosby Iii

Claude Cosby III was born on March 15, 1970 to Claude Cosby Jr. and Helen Perkins-Thomas in Belle Glade, FL. "Scooner" as he was affectionately known by family and friends grew up and was raised in Belle Glade, FL. Claude Cosby III received his education through the Palm Beach County School District. Claude was a graduate of Glades Central High School Class of 1988. Claude was definitely a gifted young man. While attending Glades Central High School Claude excelled in band playing trumpet for the "Mighty Maroon Machine" under direction of Mr. Willie Pyfrom. He was also active with GCHS track and field team as well running the hurdles. Claude's personality and charismatic ways will definitely be missed by those whom knew him best. As a young, motivated man Claude's curiosity inspired him to try many different ventures in life. Claude had a brief encounter with the US Navy. Though he found that not to be in his forecast. Claude did find his career choice in life which he loved and adored being a Policeman serving and protecting his community. Claude worked with several great agencies such as City of Belle Glade PD, City of Boynton Beach PD & City of Riviera Beach PD. Not to mention "Scooner" was a great fisherman as well. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving Mother (Helen Perkins-Thomas), Father (Claude Cosby Jr) preceded in death. His Son (Joshua Cosby). A very Special Grandmother (Coriee Maing) of Belle Glade, FL. Siblings (Helen "Shu Shu" Cosby) preceded in death, (Veronda "Ronda" Cosby) preceded in death, Yolanda(Marvin) Galloway, of Rochester, NY, Veronica Cosby, of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Tanille Cosby(Elijah Pompey), of Belle Glade, FL. Chandra Cosby-Holley, of Port St. Lucie, FL. Terik (Dawanda) Cosby, of Orlando, FL. Cedric (Anid) Cosby, of Royal Palm Beach, FL. A host of Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, & Cousins will truly cherish "Claude" memories.
