Christopher John Brady, 45, of Wellington, Florida, passed away on October 1, 2026, following a courageous battle with ALS.

Chris was born on November 7, 1980, in Rochester, New York. He graduated from Homestead High School in Mequon, Wisconsin, and later earned a degree in Psychology from Lynn University.

A proud longtime member of the PGA of America, Chris built his career around the game of golf he loved so deeply. Most recently, he was employed at Wellington National Golf Club, where he cared tremendously for his staff and members. Chris was known throughout the golf community not only for his professionalism, but for an extraordinary level of service and kindness that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Chris was married to Katherine Dixon Brady, whom he first met while the two worked at St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida. They developed a close friendship that endured through the years, and life brought them back together in 2022. They married in 2023.

Above all else, Chris was a devoted father. His daughter, Emma Scott Brady, 12, was the center of his world and his greatest source of pride and joy.

Chris is survived by his wife, Katherine; his daughter, Emma; his parents, Fred and Linda Brady; his sisters, Meredith Perri of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Danielle MacDonald and her husband, Tobias, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Erin Sloane of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and his beloved nieces and nephew, Bailie, Madilyn, Gracie, Jack, Lillie, and Marlee.

He is also survived by his mother- and father-in-law, Ron and Jenny Dixon of Venice, Florida, and shared a special bond with his sister-in-law, Dr. Mary Beth Dixon, her husband, Dr. Erik Holsen, and their daughter, Caroline, also of Venice.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessica Scott Breen, and his infant son, Ethan Jefrey Brady.

If you asked those who knew Chris to describe him, the answer was nearly universal: he was one of the kindest men they had ever known. He loved deeply, served others generously, and brought an unmatched level of care to both his personal life and his profession.

Chris will be remembered most for his kind heart, his devotion to his family, his love of golf, and the countless people whose lives were better because they knew him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. A committal service will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery.
