Cheryl Ramjohn

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cheryl Ramjohn, a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend who passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024 at the age of 57. Cheryl was a devoted and loving mother to her son, Nicholas Cassie, and a cherished wife to her husband, Brian Cassie. Her passion was mothering the brightest light in her life, Nicholas. Cheryl's nurturing spirit, warm heart, and kind soul touched all who knew her. She found laughter in the simplest moments spent with those she loved. Cheryl was also a loving daughter whose bond with her mother and father was one of friendship and respect. She was an adored sister and friend. Her strength, generosity, and ability to bring people together will be remembered, and she made every person she met feel valued with a smile that lit up a room. Cheryl's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her memory will live on through her family and the many lives she touched. She leaves behind her loving husband, Brian; her son, Nicholas; her mother, Zalina; her father Haniff; her sisters, Sharon and Joanne, her aunt Gina, Nanda and Reynold, nephews and niece, as well as relatives, and friends who will continue to carry her legacy of love and laughter. A private family service will be held in Cheryl's honor. The family asks for privacy during this time of grief, and they appreciate the love and support from all those who have offered their condolences. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Cheryl's memory by sharing a laugh, a dance, or thoughtful words with someone today, just as she would have done.
