Cheryl Anne Metzner

Cheryl Anne Metzner, 56, devoted wife and mother, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 20, 2013. She is survived by Fred, her beloved husband of 23 years and children Michael and Emily of Wellington, FL as well as her father and mother, Rod and Eleanor Smith, of West Palm Beach, FL. Born October 8, 1956 in Astoria, NY, Cheryl grew up in Babylon, NY and also spent part of her childhood in Bogota, Colombia where she took horseback riding and guitar lessons and learned to speak Spanish. "She was very active and wanted to learn everything", recalls Cheryl's mother Eleanor. Cheryl is a graduate of Roxbury High School, Succasunna, NJ. She earned a degree from the prestigious New York School of Interior Design and had an unmatched passion and eye for decorating. Cheryl's creative talent was also reflected in her love for entertaining and the laughter and joy that filled her home. Cheryl also studied Business Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, NJ. She combined her artistic ability with brilliant business acumen as President of Ageless Beauty and Health Inc. She also excelled as a longtime District Sales Manager for Avon and enjoyed being able to mentor and inspire women. Cheryl was beautiful inside and out and exemplified all that a Christian woman could aspire to be. She was passionate about her faith and involved in a variety of ministries at Christ Fellowship Church through the years. A celebration of Cheryl's life will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, May 25th at the Royal Palm Campus of Christ Fellowship Church, 9905 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411. Attendees are encouraged to wear vibrant colors as a reflection of Cheryl's love for all things bright. Internment will be private. Memorial contributions are encouraged in support of Michael and Emily's ongoing education in the field of medicine.
