Mrs. Cheryl Spahr Glass, of Wellington, FL, passed away quietly in her home, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, May 17, 2020, at the age of 62. Cheryl was born to parents Richard and Gwen Spahr on February 24, 1958, in Glendale, CA. She grew up as the eldest of four daughters. Richard's career led to moves to Rosemount, Minnesota, followed by Pittsburgh, PA. Cheryl graduated from North Allegheny High School. She earned a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Cincinnati in 1981. Following graduation, she returned to South California where began her professional career with IBM. Six years later, she moved to South Florida in 1988, where she became a fit-up manager for luxury yachts; then sold and managed custom millwork and finish carpentry; then managed restaurant and retail fit-up until she entered the luxury home market. In 2001, she founded her own company, Cheryl Glass Associates, and provide oversight and resources on behalf of her clients who self-developed their fine, luxury homes from the ground up. In 1997, Cheryl married Clinton Glass in Coral Gables, FL. The couple had two children, Connor and Anna. Cheryl focused most of her energy on raising the family's two children and stepson, Coleman Glass. Cheryl is survived by her mother, Gwen Spahr; her three sisters, Karen Hammond, Leslie Waldfolgle and Andrea Albert, and nieces and nephews, Danyelle Sharps, Mason Hammond, Greg, Ricky and Grace Waldfolgle; and a grand-nephew, Roman Waldfolgle – all living in Pittsburgh, PA. Cheryl is further survived by her husband, Clinton Glass, his parents, Jim and Helen Glass of Coral Gables, FL, her husband's brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Susan Glass of Tampa, FL and their two, adult-aged children, Elizabeth and William Glass. Cheryl is preceded in death by her father, Richard Spahr, and bother-in-law, Bryan Albert. Cheryl's cremation will take place at Palms West Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will take place later for friends and family at time and place to be determined. Cheryl's ashes will be scattered off the coastlines of Saint Maarten & Barthélemy, two of her absolute favorite places to visit in the Caribbean. The family is very grateful for the condolences, thoughts and prayers.
