Charles D. Stevens (Chuck) Yesterday is here and gone but memories will live on forever in the hearts and minds of many loved ones, friends and acquaintances. Chuck was originally from Buffalo N.Y. and the proud father of seven children. The children are as follows: Brian (Deceased), Brad (Deceased), Bruce (Laura), Bambi (Bob Bunty), Brenda (Deceased), Guy, and Deanna Stevens. In 1985 he married Kathy Hoffman and moved to Florida. Wow - now he inherited 3 more children, Tony Capretto, David Capretto (Stacey) and Kelly Capretto Gambrel (Butch). Before leaving Buffalo N.Y. he was employed with the Engineers Union Local #17 as a heavy equipment operator. Now for anyone who doesn't think the hot sun in Florida may not affect your thought process, think again! A true star emerged as Chuck's career changed drastically. In 1987 he began his journey as a car salesman with Stewart Pontiac in West Palm Beach Fl. He truly loved his work and excelled beyond belief. At the time of his death he was employed by Auto Nations in Greenacres Fl. Here he acquired a whole new family of friends. Seven days was never too many as long as Chuck could sell a car. Chuck was an avid sports enthusiast. He loved the Buffalo Bills football team, the Miami Heat Basketball team and last but not least NASCAR; Dale Earnhardt being one of his favorites. He never picked a quiet sport such as fishing or golf, the louder the better. As the years passed he became the proud grandfather to Breanna (Kyle Duncan) Brittney Caldwell, Chelsea, Madison Stevens, Todd Bennett, Nicole, Bobbi Jo, Corey Capretto, Hunter and Casey Gambrell. Chuck also had 3 great children, Riley, Bristol and Tristan. Chuck was the proud son of the late Ida Hanes and Henry Stevens. He was one of 11 children and is survived by 3 siblings, Barbara Stevens, Nola (Merle) Jackson and Helen (Butch) Tunney. There are many nieces and nephews that loved their Uncle Chuck. Chuck may you rest in peace and comfort. You will be truly missed – TODAY, TOMORROW AND ALWAYS. Love Kathy
