Charles Joseph Lipuma

It is with great sadness and exceptionally fond memories that the family of Charles Lipuma announces his passing on November 13, 2017 at the age of 96 after a brief illness. Charles was a retired United States Air Force WWII Veteran who earned the rank of Major. He served his country with pride. Charles held a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a man of great faith and loved the Lord with all of his heart. Charles was born to Maria and Calogero Lipuma in 1921. He married the love of his life, Julie Lipuma, on October 11, 1944. Julie passed away in September 2014. Julie and Charles were happily married for 70 years and had three beautiful daughters Judie [Tom, deceased], Janice [Ted], and Charlene [Tom]. Charles was the youngest of nine children. Charles will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Carmella, his 11 grandchildren Jason [Kim], Kristyn [Dan], Tom, Kara [Tim], Jamie, Janna [Joe], Mia [Sean], Ted [Michelle], Christina [Derek], Charissa and Cathryn and 21 great-grandchildren [Victoria, Jason, Gioia, Michael, Tommy, Michael, Max, Ty, Vincent, Julena, Ethan, Justin, Gianna, Nicco, Gia, Danni, A.J., Zane, Charlie, Aiden and Lillian]. Charles' family adored him and he will be greatly missed. Services will be at Palms West Funeral Home on Friday December 1, 2017 from 3- 4 pm and from 6 – 8:30 pm. Graveside with Military Honors will be at Queen of Peace Cemetery on Saturday December 2, 2017 at 10 am.
