Charles "Chuck" Clarence Boltz, 77 of Lake Worth, FL passed away at his home on Saturday morning December 30, 2017 with his daughters by his side. He is loved very much and will be missed dearly. He was born March 14, 1940, in Angelica, NY the son of the late Clarence and Vera Boltz of Colden, NY. A long time resident of Lake Worth, FL since moving his family here in 1983 from their hometown of North Collins, NY. Chuck graduated from Orchard Park High School in 1958 and is a veteran seaman of the United States Navy serving from 1958-1960. While living in North Collins he served as a Volunteer Fireman and worked part time for the Village of North Collins Police Department. Chuck and Beverly (Briggs) were married for 25 years and raised their three daughters, Connie, Kim and Cheryl. Chuck worked driving a semi and hauled steel from Buffalo to Michigan for several years. After, he was employed at Mecca Farms from 1977 until he became ill in 2017 and could no longer work. He was a simple, hard working man always provided for his family and a dedicated employee of Mecca Farms as he loved what he did. When Chuck was not on the road, in the fields or at the packing house he could be found with his good buddies at the garage working on some piece of equipment or at the local bar enjoying a cold one. Chuck was a fan of Budweiser, the Buffalo Bills and would always be wearing a ballcap from his collection. Chucks passions included his daughters, playing the piano, cooking, enjoying a good steak and fried potatoes, driving semi tractor trailers, snowmobiling and the Langford tractor pulls. Chuck is survived by his daughters, Connie L. Tuller and her husband Ed of West Palm Beach and Cheryl A. Boltz of Port St. Lucie. Granddaughters Kimberlyn and Katelyn McCoy. His brother David Boltz and wife Gail of Jamestown, New York and nephew Gregory Boltz of Hamburg, New York. He is preceded in death by his father Clarence Boltz, his mother Vera Hilbrecht Boltz, his wife Patricia A. Boltz and his daughter FHP Trooper Kimberly A. Hurd. A celebration of life will be held at the Eagle Grill on Sunday January 14, 2018 from 2 – 4 PM located at 4636 Jog Rd, Greenacres FL 33467. Burial service will held graveside at Our Lady Queen of Peace on Monday January 15, 2018 at 11 AM located at 10941 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach FL 33411. In lieu of flowers those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider making a donation to a charity of their choice in Chucks memory.
