Charles Aldo Young

Charles A. Young Chuck Young, AKA the Lone Arranger, age 90. Born December 17, 1923 in Riverside, New Jersey. Graduated from Riverside High School in June 1941. Entered Duke University in class of 1945 and graduated with class of 1948 due to US Navy service in WWII. Served as a Lieutenant, Supply Corps, US Naval Reserve. Played professional baseball 1947-1949. In 1950 returned to active navy duty for the Korean War. Married in 1957 and moved to South Florida. Employed by Palm Beach School District 1957-1987 as teacher, administrator and counselor. Received a Master's degree from University of Miami in 1962 and a specialist degree from Florida Atlantic University in 1972. Longtime member of the West Palm Beach Country Club where he was known as the "Lone Arranger" in coordinating golf activities. Survived by his son, Chris Young of Dania Beach, Florida and daughter, Wendy Young of Vero Beach, Florida.
