Charlene F. Khanna

Charlene F. Khanna, 61, of Greenacres FL, passed away peacefully Sunday June 8, 2014, from a brief and valiant battle with cancer. The funeral service will be held Friday July 11, 2014 at Palms West Funeral Home 110 Business Park Way Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411. There will be a gathering at 09:30 followed by the memorial service at 10:30. Please join the family for light food and refreshments immediately following the service. Charlene was born on October 02, 1952 in Yonkers, NY to John and Frances Fitzpatrick, one of six girls. She graduated from Gorton High School in Yonkers NY. Charlene worked in food service for the School District of Palm Beach County for almost 25 years. She raised four children and 8 grandchildren; she enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, spending time with friends and family, and was also very involved in the child care program for the School District of Palm Beach County. She was known for her love of children, fun loving personality, unique and contagious laugh, love for her family, hard work and willingness to help. Charlene is survived by her son Christopher (Alyson) Khanna of Loxahatchee FL, son Peter (Michelle) Khanna of Delray Beach FL, daughter Julie (Ramprasad) Gopalan of Lake Worth FL, son Roy (Ashley) Khanna of Lake Worth FL., her grandchildren Devi, Jade, Jayla, Jordonna, Julianna, Lillian, Nikhil, and Reese, her sisters Edwardine, Helene, Jacquelyn, Marilyn, and numerous loving family members and friends. Charlene is preceded in death by her parents John and Frances Fitzpatrick, sister Madelyn Deyo, brother in law Alfred Duarte, mother in law Julia Khanna.
