Carrie Lynn Rognsvoog Orton

Carrie Rognsvoog Orton, 56, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2023. She was with her loving (or in the care of) immediate family, and it was her 22nd wedding anniversary. Carrie's compassion and love for others will live on in her many friends and family. She was the first to volunteer and help anyone in need and celebrate the simplest milestone. Carrie deeply impacted many in her life. She devoted her life to her family and her priority was caring for her children. Carrie was a dedicated daughter and helped her mother for years with her animal sanctuary. She enjoyed visiting her sister in Illinois while providing opportunity for her children to bond and create lasting memories with their cousins. Carrie was an avid reader and owned a prized recipe collection. Carrie was an excellent cook and regularly showed her love for others often by baking and cooking for them. The love she had for others was evident in the meals she provided. She is preceded in death by her father, Pete Rognsvoog and her sister, Laurine Rognsvoog. Carrie is survived by her husband of 22 years, Pete; children, Hunter and Emily; step-daughters, Arlene and Andrea; grandchildren, Roman, Raphael, and Riley; mother, Darlyne Bruneau; sister Jennifer Bruneau; nieces and nephew, Blake Olsen, Sadie Olsen, Shelby Olsen; sister-in-law, Judy Orton and extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 4th at 6pm at First Baptist Church of Wellington, 12700 Forest Hill Blvd, Wellington, FL 33414
