Carol A. Ferraro, 79, of West Palm Beach, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2015, surrounded by family and under the care of TrustBridge Hospice. Carol was born on February 2, 1936 in Mamaroneck, New York to parents Carlo and Ann Diforio. Carol lived most of her life in Westchester County, New York where she worked in various administrative and managerial positions at Nestlé and IBM, before retiring in 1997. Two years later she moved to West Palm Beach, where she made many dear friends and could be close to family. Carol cherished life and spending time with family and friends. Among her favorite activities were travel, Friday night movies with the Girls, playing games, eating out, going to the beach, and debating political issues with family and friends. She was fond of animals and loved her Maltese, Little Bit. Carol was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving daughter Traci Ferraro. She is survived by her loving daughter Donna Brown (spouse Ted), brothers Ralph Diforio (spouse Rosalie) and Carl Diforio (fiance Patricia), Barbara Beckett (partner of Traci Ferraro) and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 21 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 22 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 13645 Paddock Drive, Wellington.
