Carmen Louise Nelson

Carmen L. Nelson 89, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Lake Worth, FL. She was the widow of Gerald D. Nelson. They shared 48 years of marriage. Born in St. Catherine, Jamaica W.I. She was the eldest of 8 children of Ernest & Eda Randall. She graduated from St. Faith All Age School. Worked as a CNA and was a Foster Parent for the states of Texas and Florida. She grew up Anglican, converted to Roman Catholic at marriage; and became a born again Christian. She belonged to Calvary Chapel of Melbourne. She enjoyed reading, dancing, singing and gardening. She will be remembered for her love of God, people and being fun to be around. She is survived by 2 sisters, 2 brothers, 8 children, 21 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. The funeral and graveside services will be held on September 1, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Palms West Funeral Home and Crematory located at 110 Business Park Way Royal Palm Beach, FL. 33411 with interment at Our lady Queen of Peace Cemetery located at 10941 Southern Blvd. Royal Palm Beach, FL. 33411. The viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
