Carmen Julia Michael (née Lopez) passed away on April 9, 2018. Carmen will be remembered as a kind neighbor, a feisty grandmother, and a devoted caretaker. Born in Puerto Rico on March 20, 1933, Carmen moved to Brooklyn, New York as a teenager. She married Edmond Michael in 1953 [?] and together they raised four children; David (Michelle Michael), Peter, Christopher, and Juliana (Judge Peter Blanc). The family moved to West Palm Beach in 1978. Carmen is survived by her children, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren as well as her brother Angelo, her sister Doris, and many nieces and nephews.
Carmen gave her family endless love and lessons during her 85 years of life. At Carmen's request, there will be no formal memorial service. Instead, she requested that loved ones celebrate her life in their own way and through random acts of kindness.
