Carmella Theresa Leconche

Carmella T. LeConche, 92, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2009. Born in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of Thomas and Maria (Barbagallo) Laspina. She and her late husband Mike were in the restaurant business in Hartford before retiring to Ft. Lauderdale in 1978. They enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and being involved in social clubs. Carmella?s memory will be cherished by her sons, Charles (Mary) LeConche, William (Leisa) LeConche, Richard (Nancy) LeConche; 11 loving grandchildren and several great grandchildren all of whom reside in CT. A visitation will be held 6-8 PM on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Palms West Funeral Home, with a wake service beginning at 7:30 PM. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, January 9, 2009 at St. Rita Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, in Bloomfield, CT. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Carmella?s name to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
