Carlita Maria

Carlita Maria Pena de Lewis, 73 of West Palm Beach, FL passed away on Sunday May 29,2022 at Wellington Regional Hospital, surrounded by her daughters. Carlita was born to Ulises Pena and Francisca Pena (Morales) on May 16, 1949 in Laguna Salada, Dominican Republic. Carlita migrated to the United States in 1974, lived in Brooklyn New York with her family until 1985, then moved and settled in West Palm Beach, FL until her passing. In Florida Carlita continued working with her sisters as a Nail Technician in Palm Beach, and she remained in that industry, retiring after nearly 40 years. Carlita is predeceased by her ex-husband Ulises Lewis, brother Hector, sisters Gloria and Urania. Carlita is survived by her daughters, Yuberqui (Yubi) Jarrett (Lewis) and Alicia (Ali) G. Lewis, her grandchildren, Nicholas , Ethan, Naomi, Janey and Lillian, and her ex husband Pedro Colon. To Carlita, her family was everything and her grandkid's were the light of her life.
