On the early morning of October 1, 2016, Brandon Campbell passed away at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He miraculously survived 9 days after a motor vehicle accident in which he suffered extensive inhalation injury due to the explosion that occurred. Ironically, he passed from the exact injuries in which he often rescues people from. Brandon is one of the few, born and raised in South Florida who enjoyed the typical native life from hunting season to boats on Sundays. He held an honorable position as a fireman in Desoto County, as well as a reserve position with Palm Beach County Fire Volunteers. On top of his dedication with fire rescue, he also held a position with West Palm Hospital as a medic in the ER. He began his career with AMR, acquiring all of his basic training in which he was undeniably passionately involved. His commitment to helping others existed beyond his profession and extended throughout his close-knit family. They say the good die young, but Brandon's impact delivered beyond expectation. As difficult as it is to say goodbye, his positive outlook and loving smile will always be felt by those he left behind. Brandon is an amazing man and has impacted more lives than many have in their lifetime. He is survived by his mother Brenda Ungerer, his father Allan Campbell, stepfather Christopher Ungerer, sister Christina Campbell, brother Allan Campbell, nephew Hunter Britt, sister-in-law Jennipher Hall, Niece Gwen Barron, niece Liliana Campbell. Brandon left this earth too soon, but he will live on forever with his family, friends and the lives he has touched.
