Our beloved, Beverley Ann Adamson, passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 75. Beverley was born on April 15, 1951, to Irene and Leslie Adamson in Christiana, Manchester in Jamaica.
Beverley is the cherished mother of Kara-Ann Valentine and grandmother “Baba” of Kamryn Fearon. She is now reunited with her parents, brother (Stenneth), and sister (Pauline). She leaves behind a large and loving family, including aunts, nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins and friends.
Beverley’s early life in Jamaica included attending St. Hilda’s High School in Brown’s Town, St. Ann. After graduation, she worked at Nova Scotia Bank in Christiana and later moved to Kingston where she worked at the Jamaica Telephone Company. Beverley then migrated to the United States and worked at Citibank, Bank of America, and later with a few private mortgage companies.
Beverley will be lovingly remembered as a strong, intelligent, and caring woman. She will always be remembered for keeping in touch with relatives and friends, being the life of the party, and for always helping when she could.
Her celebration of life service will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on June 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM with the burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery. The family will happily accept flowers sent to the funeral home.
