Bette Alyll Martin

Bette Alyll "Sandy" Martin, age 79, passed away in her home under Hospice care on August 15, 2024. She was born in Leesburg, FL, on November 19, 1944, to Clarence Cecil Hall and Margaret Helen Grimes Hall, and was an only child. Her husband of 60 years James Martin predeceased her October 26, 2023, and there is some peace in knowing that they are reunited. Sandy was a loving mother to her daughters and son-in-laws: Roxanne and James Durand, and Jamie and Kenneth Dascher. She was an awesome grandmother to Caitlin & Sam Lastinger, Kyle & Cayla Ramos, Connor & Taylor Ramos, Heather Durand, Cooper & Spencer Gaffney, and Nathan, Megan, and Emily Dascher. She was also a great-grandmother to Trent James Ramos and to Lastinger baby on-the-way due 2/1/2025. She was known for her amazing cooking skills, and her labor of love was sharing food and baked goods with all her friends and neighbors. She instilled good morals, values, confidence and strong character traits into her family members that will influence the generations to come. She will be greatly missed but will live in our hearts forever.
